This episode obviously takes place after the movie Ultimate Enemy In Ultimate Enemy, evil Danny tells Jazz about his "cheese head arche nemesis. Jazz figures its Vlad Masters, so it shouldnt be such a big surprise when she looks at Danny's ghost files to see that Vlad is a ghost if she already knew.

The episode title “Secret Weapons” is a reference to the Ecto-Skeleton, which was Danny’s last resort in fighting the ghost king Pariah Dark, from “Reign Storm”.
