Daria was a recurring guest star on MTV's Beavis and Butthead. In contrast to her classmates, Daria was a smart student amused by Beavis and Butthead's misadventures. When the series ended, writer Glenn Eichler pitched a spin-off of Beavis and Butthead that followed the life of Daria in the town of Lawndale.
| Is the series available on DVD?
Daria has not been released on DVD and there has been no sign of plans to do so. However, 3 VHS tapes were released: Daria, which contains the first three episodes of season 1 as well as the unaired pilot; Daria Disenfranchised, which contained episodes 4-7 of season 1; and the TV movie Is It Fall Yet?. Both Is It Fall Yet? and Is It College Yet? were released on DVD.
