While discussing his relationship with Tamara to Dawson, Pacey accidentally allows a classmate to overhear – and within minutes the rumors are flying all around school. Meanwhile, Bessie goes into labor, but is miles from the hospital and the only local ambulance is broken down. Without options she agrees to allow Grams to deliver the baby, where Joey and Jean learn some life lessons.

Episode Quotes
Dawson:
Hey, look, Pacey. Granted, this is not good. But this is in your hands. You can control this now.
Pacey:
It's the wrong time for the Obi-Wan moment, Dawson

(Talking about Pacey)
Doug: I'll tell you, that boy has been nothing but a bane since he was a child. In trouble here, creating a ruckus over there.
Ms. Jacobs: Well, then you must be very proud.
Doug: Proud? I don't quite follow you, Tamara.
Ms. Jacobs: Of the way he's grown up. From an unruly child to a sweet, sensitive, intelligent young man.

Ms. Jacobs: And Douglas. It's Ms. Jacobs!

Joey: No time to talk, Dawson. My sister's having her baby.
Dawson: Cool! Congratulations.
Joey: On your lawn.
