Lucas tells Kate that the focus groups loved Chloe and Daniel. When Lucas leaves the room Kate pulls out her tape recorder and plays the tape of Daniel. Lucas walks back in and wants to know why Kate has Daniel's voice on a tape recorder. Kate lies and tells him that she records their strategy sessions for playback. Daniel brings Chloe home and she ends up fainting in his arms and he rushes her to the hospital. Once there, Lexie notices that Daniel is to attached to this case when he gets upset over what is taking so long with the test results. Lexie calls Lucas to tell him that Chloe is in the hospital and he and Kate rush to the hospital. Maggie happens to be at the hospital for another reason when she finds out about Chloe. Maggie also witness Daniel become upset over Chloe and tells Daniel that she thinks he should step aside as Chloe's doctor. Kate thinks to herself that by the time they figure out what is wrong it will be to late for Chloe. Daniel gets the blood work back and is surprised that it shows that nothing is wrong. Max tells Arianna that they want to make her manager of the Pub because he is leaving for London. Melanie, Bo and Caroline say their good-byes to Max and he leaves for London. Sami goes to get money out of her purse for Chinese food but doesn't have enough so she looks in Rafe's wallet where she comes across a memorial card for Emily. Sami tries to convince herself not to investigate Emily's death but her curiosity gets the best of her. Rafe comes out and sees Sami with his wallet but she tells him that she was looking for cash. Rafe tells her that he will stop by an ATM on his way to pick the food up. Rafe runs into Arianna on the pier where Arianna tells him that Sami won't stop until she uncovers the truth and says Sami is probably doing an Internet search on Emily as they speak, which she is. Sami discovers that Emily died on her wedding day to Rafe. Sami is now more curious then ever about Emily.
