Johnny Burns, played by Sean Bridgers
Another real-life character, Johnny is one of Al Swearengen's flunkies. Perhaps the dumbest of the lot, he can often be counted on to say the wrong thing, or at least to say more than Al wants him to do. Often his instructions have to be repeated slowly, but he is loyal to Al. He is a kindly man and even after shooting Sol, he shows concern for his health. Johnny can often be seen pulling the sled that doubles as Deadwood's ambulance. |
