Episode Quotes

Seth: Jack McCall!
Jack: (waking up at a table where he is passed out) I'm done! I don't wanna play no more.
Seth: (so everyone in the bunkhouse can here) Being a loud mouthed cunt, I guess some time since he's been here, this fellow, who 'don't wanna play no more' probably spoke of killing Wild Bill Hickok. Well, we're Bill Hickok's friends. (the room quickly clears out)
Seth: (putting gun to Jack's head) I'm Seth Bullock.
Charlie: I'm Charlie Utter.
Seth: And if you got your head blown off, sittin' here with your back turned, that'd be as fair play as you gave him.

Jane: Them as heal under my fuckin' care stay healed!

Andy: Hereafter, in calamity, I'll be sure to call on Jane.

Al: (to E.B.) Say what you're gonna say, or prepare for eternal silence!

Seth: You and I know how it is, Mr. Swearengen.
Al: How what is?
Seth: (standing) She gets a square shake. Or I come for you.
Al: (stands) What if I come for you? Are you ready for that?
Seth: I guess I better be.
Al: Then close your fucking store, 'cause being ready for me'll take care of your waking hours and you better have someone to hand the task off to when you close your fucking eyes.
Seth: (pause) We understand each other.

Jane: (hears a noise and draws her gun) Who’s there, God damn it?!
Charlie: Who the hell’s it look like?
Jane: (recognizing a friend) How the fuck do I know who it fucking looks like? It’s dark!
(Charlie takes his hat off, Jane puts her gun away)
Jane: Jesus Christ, come upon a person unawares in a fucking graveyard!
