Hi, RJ here. I'm the editor for Deadwood on TV Rage.
I just want to make it clear that if you've been putting off posting to this forum because you are afraid someone will report you or get you suspended because you accidentally repeated a line from the show, don't worry. We're all Deadwood fans here. As such an occasional "cocksucker" won't get anyone in a tizzy.

Just make sure you are directing comments at the show, don't call other users bad things. "Al Swearengen called Johnny a f***ing moron." That's okay. "RJ-Viewer is a f****", that would be frowned on. Okay? :}

And also: Please keep in mind that because Deadwood is not a network show, not everyone is caught up. Season two was on just released on DVD, so some people haven't seen it. Season three starts in June, but not every one gets HBO, so some people haven't seen it.

If your comments are season / plot specific, make sure you post it in the specific season thread, or put a spoiler button on the thread, and mark the season in the thread title when starting a new thread. If not, I will delete things pasted in the wrong area. We want everyone to enjoy Deadwood in sequence, okay?

I am half way through Season 2 and find myself intrigued with the language......no! not the swearing but the poetry of the words that reminds me of Shakespeare. Swearengen's asides are classic.

I am renting the series as HBO comes with a large package of things I will never use on my television.
