In the near future, during a war with a race of invading aliens called the Votan, alien terra-forming technology is accidentally unleashed on Earth, creating a new planet dangerous to both humans and the aliens. where they eventually realise that they must learn to live together to survive.

The show will be launched simultaneously with a MMO game of the same name manufactured by Trion.

Last season Syfy took out a few shows. Shows that had a devoted following. Shows that were fun. Shows that still had life. It was rumoured that there would MTv like reality shows taking their place. Read more

1x12: Everything Is Broken recap: The next day, Nolan and Tommy track Irisa into the forest and notice that she's bleeding. Nolan discovers tracks showing that someone else dragged Irisa off, and Tommy says that it wasn't right that Datak forced Nolan to leave. The ex-Lawkeeper insists that Amanda fired him and Tommy asks if they're going to leave, and Nolan says that they need to find her first... read more.

1x11: Past Is Prologue recap: Amanda speaks at Nicky's wake at Need Want for Nicky and talks about how the mayor made her an assistant. Datak and Stahma come in late . Once she's done, Datak offers a toast and assures everyone that he will work with the Earth Republic and nods to Colonel Marsh and his aide. Afterward, Amanda complains about Datak's actions at the wake as Marsh comes over. Nolan gets a call and leaves, and Marsh explains that he came there to pay his respects to another old soldier. He asks about the election and points out that if she accepted E-Rep's endorsement then she would have no trouble defeating Datak. 1x10: The Bride Wore Black recap: At Need Want, Alak is celebrating his bachelor party. Alak is sparring with another Castithan and trading taunts. Alak finally takes his opponent down and goes after the next one, while Tirra poses as Christie stands in a cage and begs Alak to defeat all comers. When he triumphs, he unlocks the cage and Tirra comes out. She offers herself but Alak says that his real bride would have a problem with it. When the other Castithan teenagers taunt him for mating with a human, Alak finally attacks one of them and knocks him down. 1x9: If I Ever Leave This World Alive recap: As word of the plague gets out, Alak broadcasts passing on information about the fever. Irathients carry the disease but aren't contagious, and the flu is spread by touch. Amanda and Nolan check with Yewll, who has set up a ward for treatment of everyone that is infected so far. Yewll says that all they can do is make the sick comfortable until an antidote arrives from San Francisco where another Indogene developed a cure to a similar outbreak. Nolan comments on how Tommy has been spending a lot of time with Irisa, but Tommy doesn't want to discuss it. They go inside and find a lot of Earth tech, including a space capsule. Nolan finds a NASA jumpsuit with a nametag, Gordon McClintock, while Tommy calls him over to a malfunctioning hypersleep chamber. They discover that there are humans inside of the chambers.
