Tommy and an ill-tempered Nolan are driving through the Badlands and finally pull over to the site where the ark fragment crashed to earth. As they investigate, Tommy wonders if God was guiding Sukar to save Defiance, but Nolan doesn't believe it. Nolan comments on how Tommy has been spending a lot of time with Irisa, but Tommy doesn't want to discuss it. They go inside and find a lot of Earth tech, including a space capsule. Nolan finds a NASA jumpsuit with a nametag, Gordon McClintock, while Tommy calls him over to a malfunctioning hypersleep chamber. They discover that there are humans inside of the chambers. One of them activates and the two men have no choice but to cut him free. The man looks up and asks if they're Americans. Nolan: Stop reading Moby Dick.
Tommy: It's enriching.
Nolan: It's annoying.
Nolan: Tommy, you hurt my daughter, your questions about God, they're gonna get answered--personally.
Gordon McClintock: Geez, my god, your skin is softer than I expected.
Meh Yewll: Easy, tiger, I'm too old for you.

Rafe: Oh, uh, Robert Pattinson.
Gordon McClintock: Twilight? Which one was he, the vampire or the werewolf?
Rafe: Hell, don't look at me.
Amanda: Oh. Oh, 'cause I'm the girl, I would know?
Amanda: He was the vampire.
Nolan: Oh, you had his poster on your bedroom floor.
Amanda: I plead the Fifth.
Rafe: You know, I miss the Fifth. As far as amendments goes, it was one of the best.
Rafe: Are you gonna shoot me or not?
Gordon McClintock: I haven't decided yet.
Rafe: Well, can I sit while you do? I'm not getting an younger here.
Nolan: I want to know what you were doing during the Pale Wars--all of it.
Meh Yewll: It was a war. You try to win those. You should know. You butchered enough of my people.
Nolan: I could always make it one more.
