Season 8 |
| The Curse of Degrassi (Oct/26/2008) | The Curse of Degrassi (Sunday, October 26 at 7:30 p.m. ET), on the surface appears to be a regular Next Generation episode with students preparing for the annual Harvest Dance. Jane (Paula Brancati) is anxious to see Spinner (Shane Kippel), for a night of fun.
But when he realizes that it's the anniversary of Jimmy's shooting and Rick Murray's death, he is just not in the celebrating mood and renegs. Meanwhile, Holly J (Charlotte Arnold) is in charge of the dance set-up, and is nowhere to be found.
When she's finally discovered, Holly J isn't acting like her bossy, domineering self -- she's been completely taken over by the spirit of school-shooter, Rick Murray!
Why is Rick at the school and using Holly J as his vessel of evil? Why is he eliminating defenseless students? Like every horror movie, this one needs a hero -- Spinner -- who has to set things straight before the bewitching hour comes to an end and Degrassi is cursed forever.
