Facing the pressure of year-end exams, the furthest thing from Marco’s mind is what happened a year ago – when Dylan stomped all over his heart. Marco takes this as a sign that he’s over Dylan for good. Such a good sign, in fact, that he decides to take his flirtation with Tim to the next level. They have their first date, and it all goes smoothly – including their first kiss (a first for Tim). That is, until Marco spots Dylan at the bar. The Curse of Degrassi (Sunday, October 26 at 7:30 p.m. ET), on the surface appears to be a regular Next Generation episode with students preparing for the annual Harvest Dance. Jane (Paula Brancati) is anxious to see Spinner (Shane Kippel), for a night of fun.

But when he realizes that it's the anniversary of Jimmy's shooting and Rick Murray's death, he is just not in the celebrating mood and renegs. Meanwhile, Holly J (Charlotte Arnold) is in charge of the dance set-up, and is nowhere to be found.

When she's finally discovered, Holly J isn't acting like her bossy, domineering self -- she's been completely taken over by the spirit of school-shooter, Rick Murray!

Why is Rick at the school and using Holly J as his vessel of evil? Why is he eliminating defenseless students? Like every horror movie, this one needs a hero -- Spinner -- who has to set things straight before the bewitching hour comes to an end and Degrassi is cursed forever.

It wasn't her idea to protest. And Connor is being super annoying. When he doesn't listen and continues tapping his pencil, she grabs it and breaks it, sending Connor into a violent rage. He is expelled. After some testing, it is confirmed that Connor is affected by Asperger's Syndrome but The Shep will not treat Connor "specially" and sticks to the expulsion. Clare thinks The Shep is wrong. And she stands up against the administration.

Sav and Anya have started hanging out again - as friends. But when Sav thinks he's winning her back, she explains that they didn't break up because she doesn't love him, they broke up because he couldn't balance their relationship with the demands of his family. To prove things are different this time, Sav finally invites Anya home to meet his parents. But when the meeting doesn't go well, Sav fears Anya will end the relationship for good. Is he right?

Mr. Stone, always "Daddy of the Year", pressures Peter into helping out with his half-sister and Peter reluctantly agrees. But when his Angel starts to interfere with Peter's fun, Peter decides responsibility for someone else's child shouldn't fall on him (an opinion that hits his girlfriend, Mia, hard). Will Peter turn his back on his baby sister and let her be raised without a good male role model or will he decide to become a stellar big brother?

The Shep has returned after his sensitivity training and it's Spirit Week at Degrassi! However spirits are anything but high at home for Jane as she struggles to get her dropout brother Lucas off the couch. Despite Jane's efforts, Jane's mom believes Lucas could benefit from some father/son time. Jane doesn't want her father in her life. Her friends and family don't understand why she hates him. Truthfully, neither does Jane.

Danny's new girlfriend Leia has a problem - she doesn't fit in with Danny's friends and lies compulsively to avoid them. Her chance to impress Danny's posse arises at a co-ed sleepover at Peter's pad. Truth or dare, anyone?

Lucas gives Jane a hard time for creating tension between mom and dad. But when Lucas finally sees the truth, together they stand up to their father.

Alli encourages Clare to get a new wardrobe, but with it she also gets some attention from boys. Only problem, can Alli deal with not being the only Gifted Niner Hottie anymore?
