• Degrassi helps build a school in Kenya |
Thanks to the efforts from the cast and crew, the fictional Degrassi Community School now has its own real-life sister school smack in the middle of the Masai Mara in Oloomirani, Kenya.
Over the course of the summer the cast and crew of Degrassi have been fundraising to build an addition to the Motony Primary School in Africa.
As part of a "Free the Children" project, an addition needed to be built for the Motony Primary School after enrollment became too large for the school.
