• Spinner faces a 'drastic' season says Kippel |
"Degrassi" star Shane Kippel tells CTV.ca that Spinner is going to have a 'drastic' season this year.
"I can't wait until fans get to see it," says Kippel.
The Gemini Award-winning series debuts its seventh season on Monday, Jan. 14 at 7:30 p.m. ET on CTV.
The season kicks off with the invasion of rival Lakehurst high students transferring to Degrassi Community School. Kippel says fans are going to be surprised by how dark things are going to get on the show this time around.
"I know that might not seem like much to say, because every year we've kind of stepped it up a notch, in terms of subject matter that we deal with," says Kippel.
"It's going to tug at the heartstrings, you're going to be empathetic, you're going to be sympathetic... it's a really great season."
