After seeing Mr. Armstrong in an empty classroom with Liberty, Emma speads a rumour that the two have an intimate relationship.Meanwhile, after finding an earwig in his cafeteria food, Spinner decides to boycott the "caf".

Emma and Sean go on a date. Spinner and Jimmy pull pranks on their English teacher, Ms. Kwan, after giving them both detentions.

Manny decides to join the Spirit Squad after Paige starts a team. Emma is appalled, because she thinks it's sexist. J.T. and Toby try to win $1,000,000 . You get the prize by finding a can of Pringles with the Ace of Spade, and Ace of Clubs, and they already have the spade. Little do they know that someone else has the club.

When the annual Degrassi Lunchtime Cabaret comes along, Ashley decides she and Terri could win if their band- Two Girls and a Keyboard played. But when Two Girls and a Keyboard changes to Three Girls and a Keyboard, Ashley isn't sure she wants to anymore.

The school year is coming to a close, and that means final exams. Sean, who had to repeat grade 7 fears he might have to repeat it again. Running out of time to finish his test, Sean becomes pressured, angry, and even picks a fight with Jimmy, and even looses Emma something in the process.

It's the last day of grade 8, and once again Ashley's been named "Most Likely to Succeed" by Ms. Kwan's end of the year awards. Her parents are out of town, so Ashley decides to invite Paige, Terri, and Hazel. Craig invites Jimmy, Spinner, Marco, and Sean over to his house, when Joey goes out of town for the weekend. Jimmy, who is still angry with Sean, decides to stay home. After long, dull afternoon at Joey's house, Craig decides to take the guys for a drive at Joey's car dealership, which turns out to be a drive around town.

Paige begins to have a crush on a guy named Dean from Bardell- one of Degrassi's rival schools. Paige and Hazel decide to follow him to a party, but when Dean takes Paige upstairs, will he go too far?

Manny finally has the courage to ask Craig out on a date, and luckily, he accepts. The two go on a date, and the next day, they explain it to their friends. However, the both have two completely different stories- Craig had a horrible date, and Manny had a great one. How will Craig tell her?

Ashamed of her Somalian heritage, and her Muslim background, Hazel pretends she is Jamaican at the International Day at Degrassi. She goes so far to insult Fareeza, a fellow Muslim. When Fareeza's International Day display is vandalized, and has "terrorist" on it, Hazel becomes the main suspect. J.T. becomes embarrassed when everyone finds out he is good at sewing.

Spike and Snake's wedding is coming, and Spike finds out she is pregnant. Spike doesn't tell Snake, because he doesn't want to have anymore children- yet. Meanwhile, Joey plans Snake a bachelor party, while Craig, J.T., and Toby plan to get a stripper.

Jimmy and Ashley are dating again after almost a year apart, but since Ashley has a whole new look, but maybe Jimmy just can't handle the new Ashley without changing her. The girls' floor hockey team has horrible jerseys, yet the boys, who already have decent jerseys, are already getting new ones from Joey Jeremiah. The girls challenge the guys to a floor hockey match- winner gets the new uniforms. Liberty doesn't make the team, and becomes the self-proclaimed manager, and becomes controlling. Terri reads Paige's palm, and discovers she has no life line. Paige and Hazel notices she didn't read her dominant hand, and play with the fact that Terri thinks that she's dying.

Snake continues his mid-life crisis, and trades his old wheels in for a brand new motorcycle, and attracts the attention of his boss, Ms. Hatzilakos.

Someones definitely interested in Marco. It's Tim, but not for the expected reason. Tim knows Marco is gay, and has been struggling with how to come out to his friends and family. Naturally, he turns to the most openly gay student at school, Marco, for advice. Marco is flattered with his role as a mentor, but when Tim asks Marco what it was like to come out to his parents, he conveniently leaves out the detail that he's never told his dad. Marco is a hypocrite and knows he has to finally deal with his situation. Meanwhile, Emma starts to crave Peter's ultra-confident way of making her feel like she's the most amazing girl in the world - at the risk of losing Manny, her best friend.

An assignment by Ms. Dawes makes Clare wonder where her relationship with Eli is headed. Wesley turns to Drew for advice on how to get Anya to notice him.

After his confrontation with Owen, Riley’s renewed relationship with Zane is over almost as fast it started, especially after Zane gets jumped behind the Dot. Clare gets some advice from Ms. Dawes on how to get Eli to share his feelings with her and ultimately learns what he’s been hiding from her. Wesley’s dreams come true when Anya bids on him at the auction.

Fiona’s attempt at self-medication to deal with Bobby’s abuse threatens her case against him, in addition to putting Holly J’s pitch of a Vegas Night dance in jeopardy when she shows up at a special meeting drunk. Riley’s willingness to have an open relationship with Zane is put to the test when he worries that it will affect the team’s willingness to have a gay captain. His feelings of uncertainty are compounded when a college scout offers him a football scholarship. Meanwhile, Adam starts to feel like a third wheel when Eli cancels their “guy’s night” to spend time with Clare and looks elsewhere for friendship.

Seeing how Fiona is self-medicating, Holly J and her mother get her to deal with Bobby’s abuse in a healthy way so she can give her deposition. Riley turns to Coach Armstrong for advice on whether he could be an openly gay athlete if he were to accept the college scout’s scholarship offer.

Later, Drew shows KC some racy text message Bianca sent him and that she propositioned him to hook up in the boiler room. Fearing that Mr. Simpson will find out that Clare set it off, Eli decides to tell Mr. Simpson that the guilty party was Fitz. Eli’s refusal to end his feud with Fitz results in the Vegas Night dance to be locked down when Fitz brings a knife to Degrassi. After discovering Drew’s hook up with Bianca in the boiler room, Alli is out for revenge that ultimately blows up in her face. Looking to do something special to celebrate the apparent success of the dance, Holly J and Sav meet in an empty classroom where a strip tease takes place. The evening climaxes when Mr. Simpson discovers all the extracurricular activities that took place during the lockdown and vows to make big changes when school reconvenes after the break.

As the students return to Degrassi following the events at Vegas Night, they attempt to adjust to the strict new rules and dress code. After talking with Clare about the status of her relationship with Eli, Alli vows to turn a new page and focus more on her studies and less on boys and decides to join the Science club. Later, Alli gets annoyed about having to attend a self esteem seminar with Bianca and the girls eventually have a confrontation about what happened in the boiler room that results in Alli to do something she will later regret. Meanwhile, Jenna decides to use her pregnancy to gain support on Next Teen Star, much to KC’s displeasure.

After getting into a fight with Bianca, Alli is thrown for a loop when all of her secrets from the past year come out to her parents. Mad that Mr. Simpson cancelled the Power Squad since it doesn’t have a teacher as an advisor; Chantay tries to find a way to get him to reconsider.

Declan’s euphoria about his night with Holly J and the prospect of getting back together with her hits a snag when she spends the remainder of his visit avoiding him. Chantay finds a creative way to persuade Mr. Simpson to contemplate reinstating all of the school clubs.

As Clare’s home life continues to crumble around her, she finds herself contemplating taking Eli’s parents up on a strange housing offer, much to Eli’s dismay and displeasure. Not being dissuaded by Fiona’s lack of interest, Drew enlists Adam’s help in finding out what Fiona’s interested in; completely unaware that Adam is interested in her as well. Not happy that Dave wants to start hanging out with a more popular group of friends, Wesley “accidentally” informs the new friends about who Dave’s father is at school.
