| | Welcome back to Degrassi, after 10 years. Mr. Raditch is now principal, and Spike's daughter, Emma, is now a 13-year who's entering the newly built Degrassi Community School as a grade seven student. Snake is even a teacher now! The season starts off with a 10 year reunion, and all the students from Degrassi High attend. Little Emma meets an online friend, who turns out to be not what he seems when she decides to meet him at a hotel...alone. Meanwhile Ashley Kerwin runs against J.T. Yorke, for Junior High President. Ashley ends up winning, and she later faces pressure from her boyfriend, Jimmy, who thinks they should move to the next step in their relationship. Jimmy, who is a star athlete, decides to use his friend, Spinner's ritalin during a basketball game. Ashley finds out her father is gay, and Emma faces an embarassing moment, when she has her first period while wearing a white skirt. Rumours of an adult relationship involving Liberty and Mr. Armstrong surface, while Sean and Emma go on their first date. Manny and Emma fight when Paige decides to form a Sprit Squad, because Emma thinks it's sexist. Sean, who failed grade 7 last year, faces pressure to pass, but ends up loosing Emma in the process. At the end of the year, Ashley throws a party when her parents are out, and when J.T. brings ecstasy, Sean tells Ashley to dispose of it, but instead, Ashley takes it, which ruins her reputation. | |
