| | Another year begins, and a new student arrives - Craig Manning. He's rich, charming, and seems to attract all the ladies. However, when Craig's not at school, his agressive father abuses him. Craig's step-dad, Joey Jeremiah, intervenes, however, when Craig tries to take Joey's daughter to British Columibia. Emma finds out her mother is dating Mr. (Snake) Simpson, who she later marries in the season. Ashley becomes an outcast after the events in last season's finale. Emma does a science fair experiment, which leads Spinner in having a...hard time during the school day. Craig and the guys go on a joy ride when Joey is out of town. Paige is raped by a guy named Dean at a party, and Toby tries to loose weight with laxatives. Manny and Craig go on a bad date, and Hazel must accept her Samalian heritage, who is ashamed of being a muslim after being harassed at her old school. Marco questions his own sexual orientation, while J.T. has a crush on a teacher. Sean tries to drown his problems by drinking, and Ashley and Jimmy try to pick up there relationship where it left off last year. Liberty becomes a dictator when the girls play a floor hockey game against the guys. Emma leads a protest to "boycott the caf", and ends up suspended. Paige decides to press charges against Dean, after encountering him at Degrassi. Craig gets a visit from his father, but after a fight, his father drives away...and gets in a fatal car crash. | |
