Caitlin Ryan, played by Stacie Mistysyn
Caitlin was the sweet innocent brainy girl. Caitlin was an active contributer to the school newspaper, and friends with just about everyone in her grade. Caitlin once thought she was a lesbian, when everyone thought her favourite teacher, Ms. Avery, was a lesbian. Caitlin now knows she is straight, but later found out she has epilepsy. She was embarassed at first, but excepted it. Caitlin dates Joey on and off again, and in high school dated Claude Tanner. When Claude killed himself, he left Caitlin a note, saying it wasn't her fault. Caitlin felt like it was her fault, and was depressed. Caitlin also caught her father cheating on her mother, but found out her mother already knew. Caitlin graduated one year early, and went off to Hollywood, where she got her own show called "Ryan's Planet". Ten years later, she was still friends with Liz, Lucy, and most of all Spike. She was engaged to this jerk, Keith. When she found out he wanted her for her fame (and punching Joey in front of their whole alumni at the 10 year Reunion). Joey and Caitlin decided to be friends. Caitlin went back to L.A. and continue her work. Then she decided to come back to Joey, but found out he was dating this girl named Sydney. Joey broke-up with her, and her and Caitlin connected again. Caitlin was then offered a show that would lead her throughout the world, including Africa, to fight AIDS. Caitlin returns only to find Joey selling his house because he can no longer afford to pay his bills. Sydney puts it up for sale, and Caitlin makes a deal with Joey's old girlfriend, and she buys Joey his house back. Caitlin then became a reporter for the local news team. She and Joey were dating again, and Joey thought it was time she moved in. Caitlin stayed there for almost a year, but after countless fights with Joey, and the help of her fan Kevin Smith, Caitlin decides maybe Joey isn't the one for her. |
