Two brothers, Alex and Louis Thomas, open a small restaurant in New Jersey with their mother, Rita. On their opening night, Louis sleeps with the daughter of a notorious mafia boss, who burns down their home and restaurant, forcing the Thomas family to flee to Los Angeles.
There, Alex and Louis find work at a prestigious Beverly Hills restaurant, where they both fall in love with the same woman, Andrea, the beautiful daughter of the restaurant's wealthy owner. This sets off a chain of events and now their lives will never be the same again.
As the intrigue mounts, and the mafia is hot on their trail, Alex and Louis are faced with added danger, as the bonds of brotherly love are threatened by betrayal.
Along with Fashion House, this nightly "telenovella" aired 6 nights a week on My Network TV, a channel created as a result of the WB/UPN merger -- the weekend installment of the show was a recap of the week's episodes. "Desire" is an American version of the Columbian television program "Mesa Para Tres" ("Table for Three," which was the original title for this series).   love desireRating: 2 likes, 0 dislikesi was un aware of this english telenovela until i saw it accidently on tv (i was glad).. and i love this drama. basically the cast has grab most of the attention but with the predicting but mysterious story line, it makes the drama more interesting to watch. in my country it has only viewed 8 episodes. imagine my tention rite now to know the end. i wish i can download it somewhere. the music blend in the drama also nice and i wish to have a reply on the list of songs. this is killing me to wait everynite just to watch the soap. i hate the producer or who ever create this drama... :) Read more Review posted on Wednesday, November 15th 2006 at 9:03 am |

1x81: At the Water's Edge recap: In their hiding place, George tells a gagged and bound Andrea that no one came for her. He raises his gun and prepares to kill her. Just as he raises his gun and is about to shoot her, Louis calls George on his cell phone. When he answers, Louis tells George, "I'm here! I have the money!" From their hiding place Victoria looks at the phone booth an sees Alex and Louis. Victoria tells George that Louis brought Alex with him. Angered that he brought Alex, George tells Louis he is too late. Andrea yells out to him, and Louis hears her. He tells George that he will bring the money to him, and to stay put. Louis hands his phone to Alex, goes to his car to get the money and his gun, and heads off toward George.
