Keep the Home Fire Building - Recap

In LA Louis arrives at the hospital with Cully. When he goes to the desk and asks about Kate he finds out from another doctor that she drowned months ago.

When the doctor finally looks at Cully. He tells him that with some stitches, a disinfectant, and some anti-biotics he’ll be just fine. Since it is a gunshot would he tells Cully he will have to report the incident to the police and Cully will have to speak to them before he can be released.

Once Cully has been fixed up Louis starts a fire and the two sneak out of the hospital as the smoke alarm goes off.

At Jessica’s, Andrea sits by Jessica’s bedside. When Jessica wakes up she credits Andrea with saving her life, Andrea tells her that the aspirin and vodka was not potent enough to kill her.

Later on Andrea and Jessica talk about Alex and Jessica tells her that she isn’t mad at her anymore, she is just upset with the situation. Jessica tells Andrea to go to work and leave her, but asks her to keep the truth about her trying to kill herself a secret from her father and Alex.

Christoph storms into the office at the restaurant with a newspaper that says the restaurant is being auctioned.

Later on Claudia stops by the restaurant with divorce papers for Christoph. Christoph tells her that he misses her and just wants to come home. When Claudia tells Christoph that Daniel has moved in with her he becomes enraged and tells her to leave.

At the police station Lynn the detective questions George. George tells her he is innocent. When she tells him she has a taped confession from Suzy, George asks to speak to his lawyer. George tells Lynn he needs to have a court appointed attorney.

Outside of the interrogation room Lynn runs into Detective Hawkins. When he asks to be in on the investigation Lynn tells him to stay away from George.

Later on Lynn comes back to interrogate George with a haphazard attorney who has trouble understanding what’s going on in the investigation. Lynn leaves the two of them alone and calls the detectives in New Jersey to discuss the Gamarra’s, and their link to her partner.

At Peter’s house Alex and Peter look over the paper. Alex suggests that they purchase the restaurant at the auction.

At the “Food For Love” taping Alistair asks Andrea about Jessica and she tells him she is just hung over, but okay. When the taping ends Alex comes over to the two of them and pitches his idea for buying the restaurant back from George. Alistair tells him that restaurants are typically poor investments, but he wishes them both the best of luck in finding people to invest.

When Andrea and Alex get home they run into Sadie, who has packed a bag and is leaving because she thinks their home is haunted. Andrea convinces Sadie to stay, as Victoria watches on from a nearby closet.

Afterward Alex and Andrea go up to her room where she shows him a hidden safe that has a box of jewels Andreas mother left her. Andrea wants to use the money she makes from selling the jewels to buy back the restaurant, little does she know Victoria is standing outside the room and has seen the safe and the jewels.

After discussing buying back the restaurant, Andrea and Alex make love.

Victoria goes downstairs and loads Harold’s gun, she goes back upstairs and points the loaded gun at a sleeping Andrea and Alex. When Victoria hears a car drive up she puts the gun down and leaves the room.

Outside Louis finds a spare key and lets himself into the house. He goes upstairs and finds Andrea and Alex asleep in bed together.
