At Louis’s, Erica gets dressed. Cully comes in, and asks her where she is going. She tells him that she can’t stay there, and she thinks she should leave, when she woke up this morning something felt wrong. Erica tells him that Alex is innocent, and is jail. She doesn’t want the same thing to happen to her, or worse yet, the same thing happen to him that happened to Frank. Erica tells him that she can’t live like this, with the mob after them. She asks him to leave it all behind, and to make a choice, her or the money. He tells her that after all he’s been through he can’t leave Louis, or the money. Erica tells him if that is the case, then she needs to leave. She tells him goodbye and walks out

At the Beverly Grande, George and Victoria come to see Cara and Marco. Victoria asks Cara for protection from Louis, and she tells her that her protection is her problem.

In jail a guard comes and tells Alex he has visitors. Andrea and a lawyer, Michael wait for him in a room, Andrea tells him that she told them she was his sister which is the only way they would let her come see him. Alex tells the lawyer his side of the story, the lawyer tells him “We have our work cut out for us.” The lawyer tells him that the state could try to press second degree murder charges, and would probably win. Alex tells Andrea that she needs to get his mother out of the house.

Andrea talks to Detective Lin about Alex. Lin tells her that getting Rita may involve breaking the law so she can’t be involved. In tells her that if Rita shows up, she won’t be the one asking how she got there.

At the pool Cully and Louis talk about Alex being in jail. Cully suggests that they come up with a plan that saves Alex, Louis tells him he doesn’t care about Alex, and he has no family.

Later Rita tells Louis she wants out of the house. Louis tells her that she is being locked up for her own good. “I am your mother not your prisoner!” Louis runs out of Rita’s room, locking her inside behind him. Rita beats on the door and screams Louis’s name, but he doesn’t budge.

Daniel arrives back at Bella after his trip to Cabo. He tells Jessica and Peter he and Claudia are engaged. While they talk, Andrea comes and tells them that they will need to get Rita out of the house, she asks Jessica if she can keep Rita at her house when they get her.

Andrea and Jessica get the house ready for Rita. Andrea tells Peter that he needs to supply the distraction, and she will sneak in through the back gate and get Rita.

George and Victoria arrive home to find Suzy in their pool. Suzy asks for her share of the money. When George tells her that Louis still has the money she says “Well, why am I still here?” Suzy stops by Louis’s house. Louis tells her she looks good, and goes to get them some drinks. While he is gone Suzy starts to look through the house for the money. Louis catches her, and she tells him that she was looking at the palm tree, she thinks it’s thirsty. The two start to talk and Suzy tells him she thinks he seems tense. They start to make out, and Suzy stops him and tells him to tell her a secret before they do anything. Louis avoids telling her anything and starts to take off her dress. While he kisses her, Suzy looks around the room. Throughout their fairly elaborate foreplay, she continues to snoop around the house, looking for the money. After they have sex and Louis is asleep, Suzy gets out of bed and starts to look for the money once again.

Cully stumbles into a half-naked Suzy snooping, and asks her what she’s doing. She tells him that she lost an earring. As she walks off carmine comes in and tells Cully that Peter Evans is at the front gate. Cully goes upstairs to tell Louis, and Louis comes downstairs telling Suzy to stay put.

Downstairs Peter asks Louis to see Rita. He tells her no, that Rita is safer with him than she would be with Peter. Meanwhile Andrea sneaks into the house via the backyard.
