Mary-Alice shares the news of Paul's shooting, as he is loaded into the
back of an ambulance. Detectives are present to investigate, and they
soon discover that Paul had a lot of enemies. Beth confronts her mother
in prison, but she is adamant. Why would she have have Paul killed if
he had yet to admit to the murder of her sister? After Beth leaves,
Felicia tells the guard to buy her a 'clean' cell phone. She calls Mike
and tells him he's been a naughty boy, and he should've waited until she
gave him the signal. Mike says he can't talk now and ends the call.
Life goes on, and it does get better. Gaby takes a sulking Juanita
shopping, and Bree helps Keith unload the truck as he moves back in.
Susan is left with one kidney, and it's deformed. She's going to have to
go on dialysis. She fights it, but the one remaining kidney is only
operating at 5%.
Gaby and Juanita wind up at a very strange doll shop where the owner
doesn't sell dolls, she allows good little girls to adopt them. Juanita
doesn't care, but Gaby continues trying to act as though all is normal
and good. Gabby apologizes to Juanita for all she's been through lately,
and asks her to meet her halfway. Juanita loves the doll, and Gabby
gets her camera out to take a picture of 'her two princesses'. When she
does so, she is saddened to see Grace on it. Juanita becomes surly
again, and runs out.
Renee visits Susan in the hospital and offers up her kidney. Susan tells
her to relax - she's not going to tell Lynette about what happened 20
years ago. But Susan tells her she needs to tell Lynette. Tom finds
Renee and she tells him what Susan said. Tom tries to talk Renee down,
but she feels she owes Lynette the truth. He thinks Lynette would be
devastated, and Renee agrees.
Keith's working clean up on Bree's yard. A lot of damage was done in the
riot. A taxi driver drops Orson off. His new woman kicked him out. He
asks if he can move back in, and she says fine. Keith looks a little
apprehensive. After he leaves to shower, Orson calls her relationship
with Keith a "rebound relationship".
Carlos and Gaby wait outside as Juanita sits in therapy. When she comes
out, the therapist calls them. She wants them to get rid of anything
representing Grace, so Juanita can get back to an even keel.
The detectives tell Paul that everybody has an alibi. They ask Beth
where she was when her husband was shot, but Paul leaps to her defense.
They ask Beth if she knows anybody who might wish Paul harm, and she
says no. As they leave, the detectives note that Beth was lying.
Carlos is very angry after he finds more pictures of Grace. He yells at
Gabby, telling her Juanita is no longer a happy little girl, because she
did not protect her. He deletes and removes all pictures of Grace from
Gabby's phone.
Mike visits Susan in the hospital. She tells him she is refusing
dialysis, it's too time-consuming. He's not happy, but tells her he will
support her decision.
Lynette and Renee are working with a client who loves their work.
Lynette goes to get water, and comes back bearing oatmeal raisin cookies
for Renee. She bursts into tears, and the client is very worried. Renee
finally tells Lynette the truth. It was while Lynette and Tom were
broken up for a week, during their engagement. Lynette can't handle it,
and walks out. She walks back in because Renee is her ride.
Renee tries to talk to her on the way home, but she won't listen.
Lynette says the worst thing about it is that Renee and Tom have been
walking around knowing this for 20 years, and she knew nothing. She
doesn't want Renee to tell Tom she knows.
Juanita has a big birthday party, and Carlos brings in the cake. Gabby
is conflicted when one of the parents asks her if she has any other
children. She finally says no.
Tom gets home from work, very happy to see Lynette. He's so happy to
hear that they got the job. She brings up Renee to see if Tom has any
reaction. She gives him boiling hot chocolate and tells him it might be
a little cold.
Bree serves Coq au Vin for dinner, Orson's favorite. Every time Keith
sees them, Orson is paying close personal attention to Bree. Orson makes
a toast, while Keith comes across as a low-class, ignorant fool. Orson
keeps making jabs, and Keith winds up throwing mashed potatoes at him.
Bree is overwrought. Orson returns the favor with peas, and a
full-fledged food fight ensues. Bree tries to intercede, but it goes on,
so she walks out.
She shows up at Judy's to talk to her about Orson. She asks if Orson can
come back there until he finds a new place. Judy says she didn't kick
him out. He left her, because he's still in love with Bree.
Gaby returns to the doll shop; she has bought herself a "Grace" doll.
Keith talks to Bree. She tells him the truth about him still being in
love with her. She then goes and tells Orson she knows the truth. She
tells him what they had is in the past, and she loves Keith. She's
changed. She's not the woman he loved. He doesn't believe her. Bree
tells him he will always have a piece of her heart, but it's over. He
refuses to give up. Bree tells Keith he'll be staying for a few more
days. Keith tells Bree she's still in love with Orson, and leaves. She
tackles him in the steer manure on the front lawn and tells him she's
never fought harder for a relationship. He laughs and they kiss, as
Orson looks on.
MJ has a talk with Susan about the possibility that she could die
without her kidney. The nurse tries to stop her, but she insists on
going downstairs with MJ to get him ice cream. She collapses in the
hall, and has a seizure. Lynette, Gaby and Bree arrive at the hospital.
She's going on dialysis. It'll be 3-5 years before she can get a donor.
She asks them to help Mike with MJ if anything happens to her. They
don't want to hear it, but they agree, to put her heart at ease.
Mike visits Felicia and tells her it wasn't him. He didn't shoot Paul.
So who did?
The detectives confront Paul about Felicia. He didn't know Felicia is
Beth's mom. He claims he and Felicia have resolved the issues between
them. He thanks them for not bringing it up in front of Beth, and they
leave. Paul looks hurt, then angry.
