Episode discussion for: 05x23 | Everybody Says Don't (May 17, 2009)
Wow, good finale. I was worried the storyline with Dave would fizzle out like the Applewhite mystery, but despite taking all season to get to the end it was very well done. Dave was totally twisted, but I still felt sorry for him, especially when he saw his daughter in the back seat. Also, it was nice that they brought back Edie for the finale, even though it was only for a little bit.
I kind of suspected Lynette was pregnant. I was glad that Tom finally came up with a plan to get over his whole midlife crisis thing.
Gaby and Anna should be fun next season. Interesting dynamic there.
So, did Mike marry Susan or Katherine? I'm guessing Susan, especially after that kiss. |

The sudden ending sorta left me disappointed about Dave.
Lynette needs to get an abortion for the ske of the community. Jeesch... more twins?!
Anna is a great idea for Gabby and Carlos, looks like fun.

I thought it was a pretty good finale even though the ending looks like Mike and Susan might get back together...ugh.
Regarding Lynette's storyline, wasn't kinda early in her pregnancy (6 weeks was when she found out she was pregnant) to know they'd be twins? Since I've never been pregnant, I wouldn't know.
Ok, is it me or does Gabby and Carlos' storyline with Anna seem to be kind of recycled of Lynette and Tom's with Kayla? Since Gabby can see what the girl's up to and how Carlos thinks she could do no wrong kinda reminds me of how it was with Kayla. |
