Those Kinds of Things - Recap

Dexter calls 911 and says he has been stabbed in the middle of nowhere. He gets picked up by an ambulance and he ends up killing the two EMTs with paddles, because they let people die.

Angel and his sister are at Dexter's, because she babysits Harrison. He has his first preschool interview in the morning. Dexter goes in to talk to Harrison as he sleeps. "We're all moving forward". He goes to the school and it is Catholic and concentrates strongly on religion. He has a bit of an issue with religion, but he is still open to thinking about it.

All of the cops are there to make LaGuerta captain and they all notice that she looks a little too close to her boss. It was all a set up and black mail oriented, so it isn't really that cozy.

Dexter talks about the fact that his "friend" was in an abusive relationship since high school and had recently been killed three years ago. He had found evidence that it wasn't what everyone thought and that the killer got away. He plans on attending the reunion.

There are people in the glades, looking for snakes that are pregnant. They grab the snake and there are a lot of snakes inside. They are going to need seven.

Dexter makes it to the reunion and has to have small talk with everyone that notices him. He has become somewhat of a celebrity, because of what his job is. He is also fairly attractive now, which reels the ladies in.

Dexter finds his target and he climbs under Dexter's skin. Dexter does the hammer/can't touch this. The same guys from the boat go over to where there are some fruit boxes and the younger man quotes the bible and then takes a knife out.

LaGuerta moves out of her office and makes room for Angel.

Dexter is trying to get blood from Joe to confirm he killed his wife. They get called to a crime scene. There are human intestines found. He was dragged down to the bank and finds more blood.

Dexter gets a DNA match and it is time to go in for his kill tomorrow night. Dexter goes to leave and Angel asks about the interview. He can't explain believing in Good.

Angel takes his sister out on celebration about being the next Lieutenant. Dexter goes to the school the next day and tells the nun he wants Harrison to go there. Someone running on the beach finds a dead body. It is the fruit vendor and he was cut up and sewn back up. It has a message in Greek. Alpha Omega. It starts moving and they open it to find snakes. Seven snakes.

Dexter realizes that whoever did this crime is no amateur. He goes to get his victim and asks why he shot Janet and he inevitably tells him that it was cheaper to do it than divorce. He asks him how he reconcile his belief in a higher power of God with what he has done. He says everyone makes mistakes and they do things they shouldn't do and God forgives them. He gets tired of the religious talk and kills him.

Quinn and Deb are having dinner and Quinn is acting strange. It turns out that he wants to propose to her. He feels like an idiot. Someone walks in and starts shooting with two guns and Quinn comes out. The shooter is wearing a vest. Deb takes him down.

Dexter takes Harrison to school and is content to not believe in anything. The two guys that are doing the ritualistic kills speak of "it" beginning.
