Episode discussion for: 04x06 | If I Had a Hammer (Nov 01, 2009)
At the start of the ep Rita was really psn me off. It's like Dexter married her becuase of who she IS, whilst Rita married Dexter for who he COULD BE with her help. [or something like that]
But smiles all round by the end with Dexter's place  - who'd thought that just talking honestly to each other would yield such results.  |

Yeah, I never liked the Rita character anyway. She is purdeee though. I thought Dexter married her to "appear" normal - plus the kid of course. Dumb ass! Anyway...
Dexter seems to be content with a little shed out back for his private space, I just hope he can maintain his secrets there, which I doubt.
Jon Lithgow is excellent as the Trinity Killer, it just seems to fit his personality somehow. |

I've always wondered what men get out of marriage, rather than gaining stuff, it seems they're just signing loads away - but anyway .....

The female expectation is to have control over their man. (and an engagement ring whose cost represents just how much he values her  ) They also want their man to be wrong so they can correct him.
On a very side note, women won't allow there to be a national DNA database cos it would show just how many men are raising kids that aren't biologically theirs.
Also a woman with a sex toy is embracing her sexual independance , a man with a sex toy is just a sad little loser. 
Wonder what the world would be like if men could take an inverse-viagra pill and so make decisions not based on sex. - possibly interflora would immediately go out of business for a start.  |

LMAO!!! Great stuff and soooo true. You are a wise woman; therefore I will agree with everything you said.
Especially the "women want their men to be wrong " part and the DNA data base thing. 
Edit: wouldn't it be funny if Dexter found out then baby wasn't his?  |
