Obviously they toned down the language which didn't hurt the show but the commercial interruptions did. The commercials seemed abrupt and out of place, this show works best when it flows smoothly and without any interruptions. Also some cutting had to be done which also hurt the original feel of the show.
Dexter A+++ on Showtime, a B- on CBS |

I completely agree. It wasn't nearly the same as Showtime. I didn't miss the language much, but the way they spliced the commercials in was very out of place. Still an awesome show, though. I had forgotten how much I loved the pilot.
The plugs for Showtime every little bit got annoying too. |

I felt like I was being generous by giving the CBS Dexter a B- rating. |
