Is everybody psyched for the new season?
I know I am, can't wait to see how things turn out between Dex and Deb.

I just this second read that there are 4 days left and I did a little jiggy dance. Dying to see new season

I just hope it's better than last seasons crap.

I'm starting to get excited about Dexters new season, especially since BrBa is off the air.

psyched for Dexter. I agree that the last couple of seasons did not compare well with the first four. After Arthur Mitchell they set an impossible standard to live up to when it comes to worthy adversaries for Dexter. Hopefully, they recognize that now and will start developing the supporting characters of the show better. I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a story line regarding Maria, Angel, or Quinn :-(

Overall I'm actually a little disappointed, but I did love the ending where Deb ransacked his apartment.

Still don't know why the trip to wherever was necessary.

I don't think Dex was ever planning on taking a trip, not unless Deb became too much of a problem. I think he just went to the airport to catch Victor before he got away. I kind of like the fact that the Russian mob is now involved too. That could lead to some interesting complications.

On the showtime forum I said that I liked the fact that Deb knows everything already. I think that makes things less predictable. In general I like the tone that this episode sets for the season.
