	Martha Jones [Series 3], played by Freema Agyeman Martha Jones is a medical student who meets the Doctor when the hospital she works in is transported to the Moon. Although she is sceptical of his motives at first, she quickly comes to like and trust the Doctor, and by the end of the first episode, has agreed to travel with the Doctor in his TARDIS.
