Episode discussion for: 07x05 | The Angels Take Manhattan (Sep 29, 2012)

This has to be one of the best episodes since the show came back in 2005.

When Amy and Rory jumped of the roof together I thought that we wouldn't see them again. When Rory then went into back in time and Amy followed him, it was nice to find out that the lived a happy life together rather than have been left guessing if Amy had ended up in the same time and place as him.

This is why companions usually have a short shelf life in the series. Two years maximum sometimes in the classic series, and RTD was wise to relegate some to just one years worth.
