  Season 3 (Series 3 (Saxon))
The Doctor picks up strange readings in a hospital in London, and when he goes to investigate, the entire hospital is transported to the moon, and while there he meets, in a medical student named Martha, his new companion. She's the only person who will help him save the patients and staff of the hospital. When Martha agrees to join him, he takes his new companion again to Earth's past, and to New Earth far in the future, where they again meet the Face of Boe, who harbours a secret for the Doctor; The Doctor is not alone. They travel to a stranded spaceship falling towards a sun, and they only have 42 minutes to save the spaceship, it's crew, and themselves! Meanwhile in 1930s New York, the Daleks are up to something. As there are only 4 Daleks left, they plan on increasing their numbers and taking over the Earth by creating human-Dalek hybrids, the Doctor decides to help them in the hope that they will learn compassion from the human side, however it all goes wrong, and the Doctor is forced to take action against them, but one of the Daleks escapes... Martha returns home with the Doctor, where the witness the monstrous transformation of Professor Lazarus, and encounter the mysterious Mr Saxon for the first time. The Doctor then discovers that he is being hunted by aliens who seek his regenerative ability, so he transforms himself into a human, wipes his memory and hides himself as a school teacher in the early 20th century, with Martha as his servant. When the Doctor realises that the aliens will kill everyone he knows in order to find the Time Lord, he has to decide whether he can sacrifice himself, so the Doctor can save them all. The Doctor and Martha are stranded decades in the past by "Weeping Angels", and the only way they can go back to the future is with the TARDIS, which is in the present day, they manage to guide a young woman to the TARDIS, and she returns it to them, while running for her life from the deadly statues. The TARDIS has to refuel, so they go to the Cardiff rift, where Captain Jack hears the familiar noise, and runs to the TARDIS just as it starts to vanish, he leaps onto the side and holds on for dear life, but the TARDIS goes wrong, and sends them hurtling towards the end of the universe, where they find the last humans trying to escape to 'Utopia'. On the enormous spaceship designed to take them to Utopia, they meet Professor Yana, a genius on par with the Doctor, who can't remember his past. But he finds an old pocket watch, which when opened releases his Time Lord essence, and returns the Professor to his real identity, that of the Doctor's arch-nemesis, the Master. The Master steals the TARDIS and returns to the present day, where he presents himself as Mr Saxon and by using brainwashing technology, plants himself as Prime Minister of Great Britain. In control of the UK, the Master sets in action his master plan, he releases billions of evil spheres which kill most of the Earth's population and put the rest to work building thousands of spaceships, so the Master can make a start on a new Galactic Empire. The Doctor and Captain Jack have been captured and imprisoned by the Master, it's up to Martha to unite the world and help the Doctor defeat the Master and roll back time to before it all began. By the end only Martha, Captain Jack and the Doctor remember what happened. Captain Jack returns to his work at Torchwood, and Martha decides that she cannot continue her adventures with the Doctor, as she feels she has outgrown him, and knows that he will never return her love for him.
