The Doctor goes to rescue Leela, Litefoot, and Jago, but miscalculates. Weng-Chiang's true identity is revealed and he sets in motion his plan to return to his own time and place.

Leela rips off Weng-Chiang’s mask but collapses from the anesthesia and is taken away. Weng-Chiang, Mr. Sin, and the Tong greet the Doctor. They demand the crystal key and Mr. Sin threatens to kill Leela unless the Doctor turns over the trionic lattice. The Doctor produces the key but refuses to hand it over and warns he can easily break it. He tells Weng-Chiang to order his men to pull back, and then offers him the key once they get to the House of the Dragon so he can collect Jago and Litefoot. Weng-Chiang has no choice but to agree. The Doctor tells Weng-Chiang to leave the girl. Once they’re gone, Leela regains consciousness, takes a knife, and follows them...
