Both David Maloney (who directed many classic serials including my two personal favourites "Genesis of the Daleks" and "The Talons of Weng-Chiang") and Peter Hawkins (voice of the Daleks in several of the 1960s serials) died recently. Maloney died on July 18, 2006 while Hawkins died on July 8, 2006 after a long illness. |
