Move the heck on you sheep, the new series is exactly the same as the original, has excellent writing, deep character developments, better twists than the early Jon Pertwee and Colin Baker periods delivered
How can the Face of Bo's mystery be ruined if it was ALWAYS going to be the result we saw?

The companions were better in the original series. Tegan and Peri were excellent companions. |

Mouth on Legs" did nothing but screech, and Peri's claim to fame was the bathing suit boob-shots in Planet of Fire. Nothing in contrast to Donna.
Sometimes I doubt anyone watched the original series when they say it's "superior"....a lot of it has solid storylines, but so does the current series. It's just a fad to say the original model is better. |

Tegan was different from most of the companions as she just didn't accept everything and actually had a mind of her own. Some of her family members where also featured in the show so it made the character a bit more believable.
I do agree that the companions in the current series also have more of a mind and aren't just there to be an accessory. It makes them much more believable to have a back ground rather than just arriving and leaving and never really finding out much about them. |
