An outdoorsman hires Dollhouse to program Echo as his perfect counterpart, but their wilderness expedition becomes a survival game. Meanwhile, Ballard tries to learn more about Echo and continues his investigation, and the massacre which led to Boyd's recruitment is revealed.
Richard Connell: You know what they say about looking down?
Richard Connell: Really don't.
Topher: Okay, retasking satellite 7115. It's going to take a few to move into alignment.
Topher: Anything for you. Because I love you. Deep, deep man love.
Adelle: If you're amenable to the terms of your contract, you will be assigned to Echo, one of our most requested Actives.
Boyd: What happened to her last handler?
Dr. Claire Saunders: You're standing in him.
Topher: So what do you think of your new girl?
Boyd: She's not a girl. Not even a person. Just an empty hat. Until you stuff a rabbit in it.
Topher: Uh, hey, sorry. I think we have a situation. The kind you need to shoot at.
(hands Echo a gun)
Boyd: Do you know how to use this?
Echo: Four brothers. None of them Democrats.
Richard Connell: I'll tell you what. Why don't we ease up, we'll call it a draw?
Echo: You'll let me go?
Richard Connell: Sure. No harm, no foul.
Echo: You poisoned me, and tried to shoot me with arrows.
Richard Connell: Okay, maybe a little bit of harm.
