Doug's Birthday Present. Doug's eleventh birthday is coming up, just as Beebe's is passing. Phil gets Doug a basketball, but he feels the need to measure up with a great gift like Beebe got. So he starts his own photography shop. Doug's excited at first, but then his dad isn't home as much, and is sleeping when he is.

Doug's Fan Club. Doug becomes adored by Todd, a third grader, when he performs a magic trick. Doug becomes embarrassed by all of the attention Tood gives him, so he yells at him. He then learns that Todd has run away, and Doug feels responsible.
