Episode Summary

Following the death of her father and the loss of her medical practice, Dr. Michaela “Mike” Quinn decides to answer an ad for a doctor in the Colorado territory. Upon her arrival in Colorado Springs, the town’s citizens are more than vocal in their mockery of Dr. Mike since they expected a male doctor. It is only after befriending several townspeople that Dr. Mike is able to start gaining their trust and they slowly welcome her to town.
