Subject: • "Drive" cancelled!
Okay, hardly a big shock, but still disappointing news: both Michael Ausiello (TV Guide) and Kristin Veitch (E! Online) are reporting that FOX has cancelled Drive. The Futon Critic has also released FOX's press release concerning it's May Sweeps schedule, and Drive - which was scheduled to air two episodes during the final sweeps of the season - has been pulled, replaced by repeats of House.

No word yet on whether or not episodes 5 or 6 will see the light of day - Ausiello is reporting there's a chance they'll show up on Friday during May, but I wouldn't hold your breath. Production will also not continue on the series, which means that unlike previous shortlived Minear offerings, there'll only be 6 EPISODES of the entire series! A "highly-placed source", according to Kristin at E!, says a DVD is hella unlikely.

I've given the link for Kristin's post as it's more comprehensive than Ausiello (also, it's less smarmy).
