DuckTales

Show FAQ
Wasn't DuckTales a TV Special?
Yes. In 1986, Disney wanted to create animated shows for syndication. The three TV Specials were Gummi Bears, DuckTales and Floppy Dogs. The latter was based on a toy line of multicolored dogs. Gummi Bears and DuckTales proved to be a hit and became series.
Gummi Bears aired on ABC for a few years with The New Adventures of Winnie The Pooh. DuckTales aired in syndication. The two were united for a short time when Disney formed The Disney Afternoon along with Talespin and Chip 'N Dale Rescue Rangers.
