Episode discussion for: 15x19 | Old Times (Mar 12, 2009)
Wow, the title said it all...old times. I knew Dr. Benton was to appear on this episode, but had no idea that most of the episode revolved around Dr. Ross and former nurse Hathaway in Seattle working on the transplant team. I only wished that it was revealed to them that the kidney was for Carter, which would have created more drama in hurrying Susan Sarandon along in giving up her grandson as a donor. And it was cool to see a cameo by Ernest Borgnine. |

Someone had a good blog about ehat should happen in the final episode. Have Carter reject his kidney and die. As he does we realize that the whole series was Carter's life flashing before his eyes (although I don't see how he would know what happened while he was away in Africa). The his eyes close and the scene fades away. |

I rewatched this episode this morning and noticed that Carter was watching the Ellen DeGeneres Show on his TV while Dr. Benton came in his room. |
