Episode discussion for: 01x11 | Magic Snow and Creepy Gene (Dec 30, 2009)

Big case of WTF.

Previous ep had Redhead in the water, another paralised and the third about to be stabbed. This one openned and baddie was already dead and no info given as to how the other two survived. Did they miss out an ep, or trim the first 10mins.

As I have previously said.... WTF.

[ps] Got this from elsewhere...

Quote:
I just checked the discussion over at ABC's website and people are up in arms over this. The network definitely skipped an episode, so we are not losing our minds. I've seen shows that are cancelled just end on a cliffhanger or just end, period but I have to say that this is the first time I've ever seen a network deliberately skip an episode for whatever reason, and to do it just to "wrap things up" is no excuse. I mean, if it's cancelled, what does the network have to gain by doing this? And besides, there's still unanswered questions in this episode, if it's the last, such as what's going on with Jerry O'Connell's character and his son? Deliberately skipping an episode is about as low as a network can go. Very sad

Damn, I don't follow this show but I would be pissed if they did this to a show I watch

I'm glad I'm not going crazy! I kept going back and forth between blaming my terrible memory and blaming ABC for skipping an episode. Turns out ABC was to blame!

Man am i glad I found this site. I too thought I had lost an episode.
Spent ages re running episodes to see if I had missed something.
very strange.
love the show. Is it likely to be cancelled?
Any rumours?

afaik it's dead.

And iiuc as well as skipping an ep, they also stopped the series one ep short, so we've got 2 eps yet to be seen.

hopefully that'll be rectified when other countries show the (fingers-crossed) whole series

I wish SYFY would pick this show up and continue the series.
