"ECO TRIP" is an eight-part original series exploring the origins and environmental impact of common everyday products, hosted by eco-adventurer David de Rothschild. "ECO TRIP" investigates iconic items from cotton t-shirts and paper napkins to salmon and cell phones, and follows their life cycle from production to disposal, revealing the environmental, social and health effects along the way.

Join adventurer and environmental storyteller David de Rothschild as he investigates the production of common household objects to reveal their hidden impact on our planet. In this episode, David treks to the Pacific Northwest where he reports on aquaculture harvesting of salmon, currently the third most popular fish eaten in America. While fish farming may appear benign, David discovers some disturbing, little-reported consequences, including potentially hazardous dyes and drugs in salmon food and the environmental impact of aquaculture waste.
