(Sherlock and Watson talk after speaking to their first suspect.)
Watson: you know you went a little fan-boy back there right?
Watson: I don't think I've ever seen you treat a suspect so politely.
Sherlock: I don't believe she is a suspect.
(Watson finds out that Sherlock's view on sex has led him to be reckless.)
Watson: You seriously slept with Iris Lanzer?
Sherlock: It does evoke a certain (french word) doesn't it? Mind you, it's the art I find alluring not the fame.
Watson: She is a murder suspect in our case. If anyone finds out...
Sherlock: I'm feeling a little judged again Watson.
Watson: That's probably because I am judging you.
(Sherlock asks why Watson is devoting her time to the case involving the missing homeless guy.)
Watson: It's okay, it shouldn't be a secret. Especially not from you. (continues folding the clothing, while she struggles to find the words.) My father is uh...he's schizophrenic and homeless.
Sherlock: Your father lives in Scarsdale and he's an author.
Watson: No, that is my step-father. My mother married him when I was three.
(Sherlock brings things downstairs while Watson watches the news.)
Watson: What are those?
Sherlock: Blankets. Extra blankets to be precise. I saw them in a closet and realized I haven't needed them as of late. Not with all the hot blooded company I've been enjoying. So I thought we might take them to the park, see if anyone was in need. (Watson looks up, surprised.)
I understand it's going to be quite cold tonight.
Watson: (Smiles and gets up) I'll get my coat.
