Episode discussion for: 01x01 | Pilot (Oct 16, 2012)

So, what did you guys think of this new show?
Personally I didn't like it so much, it felt like it was a little bit of a teenage show about getting out of school and becoming an adult, that would be a better fit at the Disney channel or something.

Meh, didn't think this was anything special, I have enough to watch already so don't think I'll even watch the second episode.

I actually loved it. The whole point was about those insecure feelings we all had during our teenage years and how she's still wrestling with them, which is something we all do right through adulthood. I thought the writing was funny and witty. This is a keeper for me.

Reading the comments here, it actually pushed me to watch it. I had it sitting for a while and hadn't decided to watch it, but reading these made me curious and I did. It was okay. Not terrible, not boring, not great, but had some appealing parts. Not sure how long it'll last. I was actually glad the bitchy girl told her that she didn't know what it was like dealing with someone you have to take care of day in and out and that she was being judgmental on that. My mom had Alzheimers and I totally understood where that woman was coming from. After 3 1/2 years taking care of her, I was fried. Truly, one person cannot do it and should not be expected to do that whether it is a loved one or not. I'll keep watching the show 'cause I do like the actress (liked her in "Off The Map" and other things) and her character isn't as annoying as I thought she was going to be when it started and she was yelling after that high school student.
