Recap

The scene opens with Grant and Beverly at the Café. She tells him that she is among other scientists that are working to stop another incident that happened in 1945. Grant tells that it was nuclear weapons that happened. They are now going after the Department of Defense and their new weapon, the D.E.D. It is a ray that takes out all forms of communication and puts the country it is detonated back to the Stone Age. She tells that they are testing it at Global Dynamics and that Grant needs to get into the testing and stop the testing all together. Meanwhile, Fargo is having a barbeque with everyone and Henry and Grace come out and announce that they are now a closer couple thanks to a device that is putting memories into each other’s heads. Zoe leaves and tells that Zane might be at the lake and needs to go. Grant shows up and asks Fargo about testing of the D.E.D. Fargo tells that it is underway today and there is a spark hits the barbeque. ..

Cultural References
Being asked by Allison who Dr. Grant is seeing, he replies with "a tall legged blonde in a red dress". This is a reference to Battlestar Galactica where James Callis plays the role of Dr. Gaius Baltar. Dr. Baltar has an imaginary Number Six, which is a tall legged blonde in a red dress.
