The scene opens with Jack getting dressed in a suit and bow tie. Grace comes in and tells that the bride needs Jack. He goes downstairs and knocks on the bathroom door. Allison tells that it is cold feet. She tells him to talk to the bride. It is S.A.R.A. She is going to get married to Andy. S.A.R.A. doesn’t know if she loves him. Later, Jo tells Fargo that she can’t believe that the wedding between Andy and S.A.R.A. didn’t happen. Zane goes up to Jo and tells that they aren’t going to be able to dance at the wedding after all. To get Zane away, Fargo tells that Zane has work that he has to complete for him. He tells that he is on it. He walks away and Jo thanks Fargo. However, Fargo tells that she is going to have to tell Zane eventually about his grandmother’s ring. Jo tells him that he was hoping Zane is going to be transferred to the North Pole rather than having to tell him.

Jack, Henry, Allison and Grace are at Café Diem and Grace asks how Andy is taking it. Jack tells that he is taking some alone time. Meanwhile, Fargo is in a Pulse Engine and Zane comes in and tells that he has his thing that he wanted. Zane asks Fargo if the Pulse Engine is going to be for a secret project. Fargo tells that it is only for a need to know basis. Zane climbs in and closes the door. He says that he is on the need to know basis. Suddenly, the engine starts and Fargo asks what he did with the thing that he wanted. He says that he installed it into the Pulse Engine. A rocket is attached to the Pulse Engine and all of Eureka feels the launch. Jack asks Allison if a launch was scheduled for today and she says that there wasn’t. In space, Fargo and Zane are in the Pulse Engine. Allison asks what the thing was that launched and Henry says that it is a probe that is based on the bridge device. Meanwhile, Fargo and Zane wake up and realize that they are in space. Fargo tries to get into communication with Eureka, but the system has never been installed. Zane doesn’t like their odds.
Back in Eureka, Allison says that they can’t wait and has to launch the interceptors. She has Henry and Larry act on her behalf to unlock the override. Jo and Jack walk around to see what the rocket left behind and Jo tells that Zane and Fargo were in the room that had the rocket at some time and Jack thinks that the rocket wasn’t empty like they had first thought. Up in space, Fargo manages to get their life support working and says that they have 6 hours of oxygen. They see that there are missiles heading strait for them. Jack runs in and self-destructs the rockets. He tells that Zane and Fargo are possibly inside the Pulse Engine that Allison was going to destroy. However, Allison tells that the rocket is on a collision course with a Space Station and the only chance to save them were the missiles. Fargo looks outside the window while Zane vomits. They realize that their Pulse Engine is headed right for the Space Station. Fargo clips the oxygen valve and vents it out to give the Pulse Engine a little push. In Eureka, Allison, Jack, Henry and Larry watch as the Pulse Engine misses the Space Station and only scrapes it. Fargo tells Zane that they are never going to allow him to be an astronaut now.
Back in Eureka, Henry brings up the communication device that was removed from the Pulse Engine and they say that there is a way of getting Fargo and Zane back to them, but it has never been tested. Allison says that they are not too sure if Fargo and Zane are going to use the FTL. In space, Fargo tells that they have 2 hours of oxygen left and Zane tells Fargo that this is his fault. However, Fargo snaps back and says that Zane should have just gave him what he wanted instead of trying to extort information. Fargo tells that Zane is trying to get with Jo and slips that he didn’t have the right to in the first place. Fargo ignores his questions and realizes that he has a plan. He shows the FTL and says that they are going to get back to the surface of the Earth. He says that the team at Eureka is going to turn on the machine that will catch them so that they don’t die. However, Zane tells that the device that Fargo wanted was stolen from the machine that is going to save them. Meanwhile, Henry and Grace turn on the machine that is going to save Fargo and Zane.

Back at Global Dynamics, Jack asks why Alison didn’t believe his “hunch” that Fargo and Zane were on board. She tells that he didn’t give her time to trust him and that he just decided. Jack sees the Oxygen light flickering and Allison says that it is a type of communication that Fargo and Zane are trying. Alison manages to get that they are telling her about the machine that is going to save them. Jack messages Henry, but it is too late. Henry starts the machine and it sends an Electric Pulse throughout Eureka causing all the electricity to go out. Allison says that it is going to take hours to get the machine back up and that all cars are down. Joe appears with horses and they ride to Henry and Grace. Allison says that Fargo sent a message through the old communication style and Henry tells of a communication station that may have not been affected by the blast. He tells that he can make a one-time-use component to make the machine work. Grace says that her laptop has the energy that they need. Jo goes off to get the laptop and Jack and Allison go to the communication base. Once there, they find that the communication wires have been cut.
In space, Zane tells that he wasn’t trying to get information from Fargo and says that he hates feeling like something was taken from him. He says that he loved Jo, but now he doesn’t. Meanwhile, Jo goes down in to get Grace’s laptop and finds Andy there. He is still operational and she realizes that Andy is an energy source. Back at the communication station, Jack finds a phone cord with a working phone. Allison tells that they can call NASA. After giving her code, she tells that they have to wait 3 days. However, Jack asks about the satellites. Back in space, Zane apologize to Fargo and he says that it is alright. Fargo’s phone rings and it is an unknown caller. He answers it and it is Jack. He tells them not to do anything yet because they don’t have the machine up yet. They lose signal. Jack finds Joe and gets Andy. Back in space, Fargo tests the power and it causes another oxygen leak. They hook up Andy down in Eureka to the machine and up in space, Fargo and Zane are going to run the FTL. Fargo tells that if they are not going to make it, there is something that Zane needs to know about Jo and the other him. They run the FTL and it works. Zane gets out of the Pulse Engine and Zane hugs Jo and calls her Jo-Jo.

Later at Café Diem, Allison finds Jack eating the pigs in a blanket that were for Andy and S.A.R.A.’s wedding. She calls him Jack again and Jack asks if it is not Carter. She tells if they are going to be sleeping together and working together, then it is going to get complicated. Jack says that he likes complicated. Andy comes over to Jack’s place later and talks to S.A.R.A. She invites him in and she tells that she heard of him saving Fargo’s life. She apologizes for running away. She tells that she still wants to be with Andy though. Jo talks to Fargo and asks if he said anything to Zane. He tells that it was just “space” talk. Suddenly Fargo is asked by military personnel to be escorted to Washington. Once there, Senator Wen comes out and asks why he launched a rocket into space. He says that it was an accident. She tell Fargo that his life in Eureka just got a little bit more complicated.
