The episode begins with Jack and Henry searching for the crew of Astraes. Jack tells Henry that Senator Wen could have a device that affected the launch. Henry says it might be possible, but he says Jack can’t accuse a United States senator without proof. Henry tells Jack to tread carefully. Just then Senator Wen walks in. She tells them that it’s a possible case of tech theft, and the odds are that whoever is involved would leave behind any traces. Jack tells her that they would still keep on looking, despite the chances being bleak. Later Jack tells Jo what he feels, that it was not a tech theft, but that the crew was kidnapped. ..
