You join a young teenager named Renton Thurston who lives with his grandfather in a small un-eventful mining city. He(Renton) is a avid REF Boarder who dreams to go professional, there is one problem, he lacks the skill. A mysterious girl literally drop into his garage with the legendary LFO (Type-0). The military finds her there and chases her off, but forgot the weird device Renton's grandfather had given her... Renton heads out out to deliver this device to the mysterious girl in the Type-0.

Renton has left the gekko state, and now is homeless, having everything but his board and a picture of eureka stolen by a bum. He is found by a middle aged couple name Charles & Ray, they have a ship that looks almost exactly like the gekko. Later on Renton finds out they work for the military, then when everything seems too good to be true. Renton find out they are planning on ambushing the gekko state. Renton decides to leave 'Paradise' to go back and warn those on the gekko and possibly save eureka.
25 :02x12 - World's End Garden
After leaving Ray & Charle's ship tp head back to the gekko, Renton grows fatigued from walking and passes out on the ground. He(Renton) is picked up a short while later and is brought back to a stranger's farm. After a short while he wakes up and finds the stranger removing the giant stakes from the ground with a couple taps with a metal golf club shaped tool, when renton asks why he is doing that because he had heard bad things happen when they are removed, the stranger explained that they do not help anything infact they make things worse... after a short chat about loved ones renton remembers his promise to eureka then says good bye to the stranger and heads back out to get to eureka before the military destroys the gekko. Mean while Hollin has promised eureka that he will bring back Renton but while doing so he finds out the military's plan to ambush the gekko.
26 :02x13 - Morning Glory
This is the season finale. Renton is returning to the gecko to warn them of a state army plot to ambush them, Holland is returning to the gecko to tell them of the same plan. When eureka finds out Holland has returned without Renton she jumps ship to bring him back her self, though she is not yet fully recovered from her injuries. When Renton finally gets back to the ship and finds out eureka is no longer there, he sets out in pursuit with the Type-0... He finally locates her, she is being chased by Charles in his LFO, Renton catches her as shes falling and brings her into the Type-0... in there they both express feelings for one another, but they still have an ambush to stop. The two of them head off to stop the ensuing battle, before there is any more loss of life.
27 :03x01 - Helter Skelter
After the failed ambushing attempt by the state army as well as Ray and Charles. Holland, Charles, Ray, and The Gekko State Prepare for an epic battle. Not with the army nor with the LFO's... but with themselves. Ray and Charles head out to take out the legendary gekko state all on they're own. Both sides fight with all their might to protect their way of living. Sadly only one side can come out on top.
28 :03x02 - Memento Mori
After losing her husband during an assault on the gekko state ray is grief stricken and has a taste for blood. Meanwhile Renton tries to understand why Charles and Holland had to do what they did. Eureka is attached to Renton more then ever and its taking a toll on the relationship between her and her children, although Maurice is the only one that has noticed what is going on so far. Ray with no one to talk to quickly become irrational and seeks revenge on 2 people on the gekko... Holland and Eureka... Ray and Charles believed that Eureka was responsible for them not being able to have children, because of a seventh swell that ray had come in contact with...

Renton, Eureka, and the Nirvash are all slowly becoming closer every day. Eureka feels guilty that she dragged Renton into this war, but Renton won't hear of it, he claims he would have done anything just to be with her.... that's on the lighter side... but there is something else happening, something dark, something evil. The military no longer seeking to keep control over the populous, but now is looking to achieve something much more sinister. Aliens, invasions, explosions, and mysterious ailments make this episode a excellent pre-curious to the action packed episode ahead...
