J.T. gives up taking salsa lessons, but Shelly continues with a handsome instructor; Nick helps Rita move into a studio apartment.
6 :01x06 - Check Tease
J.T. unexpectedly agrees to Shelly's offer to pay for dinner, not knowing that she doesn't have enough money to actually pick up the tab. Shelly asks Rita for help, but she gets sidetracked by an encounter with supermodel Kylie Bax. Meanwhile, Nick borrows from Donovan's wardrobe in an attempt to become more attractive to women.
7 :01x07 - Player Down
J.T. and Shelly are all set to celebrate their three-month anniversary with a romantic weekend getaway until J.T. realizes he's already committed to play in a basketball tournament with his friends, and despite his attempt to soften the blow of canceling the trip with dinner and gifts, he still lands in the doghouse.
8 :01x08 - Hi Mom
When J.T.'s mother walks in on him and Shelly in bed, Shelly fears their romance will sour unless she can win his mother's acceptance and respect, and Rita breaks up with her "perfect man" when their sexual role-playing typecasts her as the submissive one.
9 :01x09 - Private Dancer
It's absolutely not a secret at all when J.T. get upset when Shelly discusses details of his bedroom antics with her gal pals, who disclose them to Missy Elliott in a nightclub during a celebration for Janie. After words for forgiveness, the two Shelley and J.T. make love in the balconie and after words when the others walk in and stuff they hide but decide to come out and all the toehrs are laughing.
10 :01x10 - The Ex Factor
J.T.'s old flame comes to town so Shelly feels she must up her game in order to keep her man from being tempted away.
11 :01x11 - 'Twas The Fight Before Christmas
J.T. gets fed up with the long hours Shelly is working during the holidays; Donovan's ex-girlfriend visits. J.T.'s mother tries to fix her son up with another woman when he tires of Shelley's busy schedule.
12 :01x12 - Just the Three of Us
After drinking his apple juice, shattering his favorite beer mug and walking in on him shadowboxing naked, Nick tells Shelly that she has overstayed her welcome at their townhouse, placing J.T. in the middle of a showdown between his best friend and his girlfriend.
13 :01x13 - Valentine's Day Reloaded
On Valentine's Day, the friends debate whether or not it was fate that Shelly and J.T. became acquainted. In a series of flashbacks to six months earlier, J.T. almost meets Shelly in line at a coffeehouse but becomes frustrated by her lengthy order. He also nearly encounters her at DivaStyle, but leaves after getting frightened by the sight of a wedding veil. Meanwhile, also in flashbacks, Shelly comes close to being seduced by handsome cheater Kevin Thorpe , with whom she had broken up. But at the last minute, she asserts her independence, leaves him and puts on the sexy dress to finally meet J.T.—and her destiny—at Z Lounge.
14 :01x14 - Sister, Sister
Shelly's successful, fun-loving sister, Simone, comes for a visit, and Shelly frustratingly finds herself slipping back into the role of over-shadowed little sister as Simone starts taking the limelight.
15 :01x15 - Porn Free
Janie discovers Marty's secret porn stash, and fearing there's a problem in her marriage, sets about trying to remedy the problem with help from Shelly and Rita. Also, J.T. has made a new friend in Cedric the Entertainer, but when this new friend never, ever leaves his side, he becomes an annoyance that J.T. wonders how to "break up" with.
16 :01x16 - Party All The Time
Shelly’s globetrotting college friend, April (guest star Sofia Vergara), unexpectedly shows up in Miami and their late-night, party-crashing antics cause a huge fight at work with Rita and Janie after the pair are ditched outside a club with Jadakiss (guest starring as himself) and his posse. Meanwhile, J.T. volunteers to bring his “D.J. Fine” persona out of retirement when Donovan needs a fill-in for his regular Z Lounge D.J.
17 :01x17 - Hair is Stronger Than Pride
Shelly convinces J.T. to visit her very popular hairstylist Coleman, but when J.T. voices his dissatisfaction with the haircut, Coleman bans both of them from his salon. Shelly begs J.T. to apologize. Meanwhile, when Nick flirts with beautiful delivery woman Danni, a jealous Rita attempts to prove to Nick that Danni may actually find Rita the more attractive package.
18 :01x18 - Ride or Die Chick
Shelly jumps into J.T.'s bar brawl and, with one punch, puts an end to the fight before it even really starts, causing J.T. to feel his masculinity has been undermined. Meanwhile, Donovan breaks up with his latest girlfriend and cons his friends into thinking she dumped him so he can get as much sympathy as possible from his pals.
19 :01x19 - Pimps Up, DivaStyle Down
The women at DivaStyle accidentally accept a client who turns out to be a pimp, Rodney P. When Shelly refuses to do business with him, Rodney calls in his lawyers, Sugar-Free and Comfort. Meanwhile, Rodney's colleagues take his "discrimination" fight to the streets by picketing outside the store.
20 :01x20 - For Love and Money
After accidentally catching her car on fire, Shelly tries to borrow money from J.T. for a down payment on a new automobile, but when he refuses, it causes her to question their relationship. Meanwhile, stuck with an extra ticket to a charity ball, Rita asks Donovan to escort her to the event and the two friends share a surprising kiss at the end of the evening.
21 :01x21 - They've Come Undone (1)
Int he season finale, a humiliated J.T. has to admit to Shelly that he has doubts that she's the type of girl he could marry after he and his parents see her and the girls drunk and topless in a new commercial for a racy reality video. With Janie "grounded" by her husband Marty for her behavior in the video, Donovan and Rita valiantly attempt to not discuss their recent kiss, while Nick can't deal with the fact his new girlfriend Dani has an ex’s name tattooed on her body.
22 :01x22 - They've Come Undone (2)
Afterwords after what J.T. saw Shelley did on TV, Shelley questions whether J.T. wants to be together forever or not. J.T. doesn't think so and Shelley say the two words "It's Over!" And wals out of J.T.'s house and dumps him.
23 :02x01 - OVER
Continuing from where we last left off and so on, Shelley dumps J.T. and leaves his house and never wants to speak with him again. After a long 3 months or so on, J.T. and Shelly would sit down for an honest conversation about the effort and compromises each must make if they're going to stay together, but just when she thinks they're making progress, Shelly is shocked to learn that J.T.'s idea of compromise involves her changing her lifestyle. After all thatover with, Shelley tells J.T. "GO TO HELL" and will not take him back. J.T. later admits that he dumped Shelley, but actually Shelley walked out on J.T. and so she dumped him, but the two still attened to solve the answer by becoming the ones who dump each other. Meanwhile, Nick tries to pretend that he is happy about Donovan's romantic interest in Rita after learning of their newfound mutual attraction.
24 :02x02 - Self Helpless
In order to deal with her breakup, Shelly takes some advice from a self-help book that encourages her to spend time with herself, but a dinner out alone comically proves she needs the support of her girlfriends, Janie and Rita. Meanwhile, South Beach's socialites, including Janis and Helen, are buzzing about Shelly's breakup with J.T., and Nick jumps at the opportunity to help J.T. get back into the local scene, which causes Dani to question Nick’s commitment to their relationship.
25 :02x03 - All My Exes Havin' Sexes
Despite Rita and Janie's warning to stop, Shelly can't resist a "dip back" (or two) into bed with J.T., until she realizes she's starting to act like they are still in a relationship. Meanwhile, Donovan and Rita's first date goes awry when Donovan has a severe allergic reaction, and despite the fact that he and Shelly had broken the pool table, J.T. tries to convince Nick that he did it.
26 :02x04 - The Hate-Trix Reloaded
In order for things to be back to normal the way it was beofre, Shelly asks J.T. for her stuff back but J.T. asks for his stuff back too. But after no excepting and doing the right thing, it's a big issue that the two now must go through to get what they want. Whether it's breaking in or stealing back.
27 :02x05 - Footloose
After Shelly injures her foot, she's taking to the doctor which J.T. introduces her to. Afterwords, the doctor decides to set a date with Shelly. J.T. says that he's setting Shelley up with a non-doctor who can speak Spanish and not know English and he's not even a doctor. After being humiliated and stuff. Shelley ignores J.T. and the sneaky trick after she's being flaunted and taking to another man. But J.T. then feels jealous that shelly's not event hinking about him.
28 :02x06 - Splice of Life
When Rita's apartment is sold and nopt fixed and sleeps over at the DivaStyle apartment store, after Shelly and Janie break in. Janie decides to let Rita move in with her and afterwords, Shelly is jealous after Rita and Janie is not apying her any mind at all.
29 :02x07 - Friend Or Foe?
The gang decides to go to a movie, but Shelly doesn't want to go becuase she knows that J.T. will be there too. And after an argument and being banned from the theater untill furthur notice, Shelly decides not to think about J.T., untill a former customer who brought a bride dress finds out that she's not gettign married. Shelly decides to talk with ehr and the two get revenge on J.T..
30 :02x08 - Love TKO
Shelly falls in love with a boxer that is actually in love iwth her, but when in a match he loses, he blames it all on Shelley that he lost. Meanwhile; Janie and Rita and arguing and fighting over each other because they cannnot live with there own rules or agree with each other.
31 :02x09 - Above Average Joe
Shelly and Rita's competition for the affections of Joe (Carlos Ponce), a charming, handsome bachelor with a yacht, gets out of control, and it's up to Janie to remind the two friends not to fight over a guy. Meanwhile, J.T. tries to give celibacy a chance in order to get closer to a woman who's waiting for "that one special guy."
32 :02x10 - Dateless In Miami
On New Year’s Eve, Shelly breaks the girls' "no dates" pact by bringing a new romantic interest to the Z Lounge party, so the rest of the gang share stories of past New Year’s Eve date debacles, including J.T.'s evening with the delusional Diana (guest star Misty May), who thinks she's a superhero. While Donovan and Rita reminisce about Shannon (guest star Jillian Barberie) and Jackson (guest star Perry King), Shelly's perfect evening takes its own surprising turn just before the final countdown.
33 :02x11 - Lights, Camera, Face Crack!
Shelly and the girls convince Brooke Burke (guest starring as herself) to wear one of their creations to a televised red carpet awards show, but this promotional opportunity turns into a publicity nightmare when fashion commentator Robert Verdi (guest starring as himself) slams the DivaStyle dress on air. Meanwhile, Nick regrets his decision to take piano lessons from J.T.’s taskmaster mom, Frances.

Shelly puts in "falsies" on a lark, but when men start giving her extra special treatment, she considers getting implants, spurring a lively debate with the girls. Meanwhile, J.T. and Donovan are determined to fix Nick’s annoying habit of never picking up a check.

Trying to learn how to defend themselves, Shelly and Rita take a martial arts class, but a rivalry ensues when Rita proves to be more adept. Meanwhile, Donovan begins dating Rebecca a dynamic older woman, but trouble arises when he attempts to set J.T. and Nick up with her friends.

Desperate to impress Grant by cooking for him, Shelly enlists the entire gang's help in the kitchen. Meanwhile, when J.T. and Nick's year-old satellite radio stops working, they turn to a variety of customer service reps based in India.

When Grant tells Shelly he’s had an HIV test because he’s ready to take their relationship to the next level, it sparks the whole gang to go get tested. Nurse LaDonna and Marteniz Brown, a HIV/AIDS educator from Detroit, guest stars as Roderick, a clinic counselor. Donovan's request for residency into the United States is denied; he is informed that he must leave the country within 30 days. JT realizes that he's still in love with Shelly.

When Coleman's (guest star Phil LaMarr) hair salon gets shut down, Shelly and the girls help set him up in their shop temporarily, but they soon regret the decision when the demanding stylist takes over DivaStyle. Meanwhile, the gang learns some surprising information about Donovan after an immigration raid on Z Lounge.

A surprise camping trip causes Shelly to question whether Grant's simple, down-to-earth sensibility is really right for her, on a rebroadcast of EVE, on a special night and time. Meanwhile, Janie’s and Rita’s attempt to spend some quality time with Donovan is derailed when he and Nick get invited to a swimsuit model party. Later, J.T. decides to confess his love to Shelly.

Meanwhile, after skipping his flight back to England and staying in the U.S. illegally, Donovan shows up on J.T. and Nick's doorstep, looking for help as he decides what to do next with his life.

Meanwhile, the gang pledges to go on a diet together, but their resolve is put to the test when Janie enlists their help in preparing for her church bake sale.

While being interviewed by local news reporter Aramanda De La Cruz (guest star Lauren Sanchez), the girls find out that the manufacturer of their new "DivaStyle Ready To Wear" clothing line runs a sweatshop. Now it's up to the girl's to stop the crazy madness and situation or else they'll be in bigger and more trouble. Meanwhile, Donovan convinces J.T. and Nick to help him sell make-up, motivating them to compete against each other for the biggest sale.
54 :03x10 - Marty in the Middle
After persuading her husband Marty to set Shelly up with his attractive co-worker, Janie becomes convinced that her husband secretly has a thing for Shelly. Meanwhile, busy with med school, J.T. feels left out when Nick, Donovan and old college buddy Galloway start spending all their free time together.
55 :03x11 - All About Eve
Shelly's return home for Christmas hits an icy patch when she discovers that her mother Beverly (guest star Penny Johnson Jerald) has taken in her favorite student and allowed the teen to move into her old room, make sweeping changes to the family’s holiday traditions and seemingly usurp her relationship with her mom. Meanwhile, J.T., Nick and Donovan decide to skip the hassle of the holidays to watch football, but come to realize how much they miss the yuletide traditions.

J.T.'s new girlfriend gets jealous of his relationships with other women and forces him to choose between her and his friends. Meanwhile, Janie becomes self-conscious about her appearance after a waitress mistakes her for Shelly's mother.

Janie's brother Paul visits and makes it evident that he has a crush on Shelly, who, because of their long history, thinks of him as a brother.

Meanwhile, Nick and J.T. start to hang out with a youngster through a local Big Buddies program, and soon clash over their very different mentoring styles. Later, Rita moves into her new loft.

But after Shelly advices j.T. to amke his own choice and stand up to his mother, Frances comes to confront Shelly but then the two both decide to work together to get J.T. the chance to take the test over. Meanwhile, after showing promise in a local tournament, Nick tries to convince Janie's husband, Marty, to pursue his dream of being a professional bowler. Later, Shelly tries to help Rita set up her new apartment.

Meanwhile, when Janie and Rita attempt to write a romance novel, they quickly realize that although their ideas of the perfect leading man may differ, their romantic fantasies are equally as hot and the novel begins to sizzle.
