It's absolutely not a secret at all when J.T. get upset when Shelly discusses details of his bedroom antics with her gal pals, who disclose them to Missy Elliott in a nightclub during a celebration for Janie. After words for forgiveness, the two Shelley and J.T. make love in the balconie and after words when the others walk in and stuff they hide but decide to come out and all the toehrs are laughing.

After drinking his apple juice, shattering his favorite beer mug and walking in on him shadowboxing naked, Nick tells Shelly that she has overstayed her welcome at their townhouse, placing J.T. in the middle of a showdown between his best friend and his girlfriend.



13 :01x13 - Valentine's Day Reloaded

On Valentine's Day, the friends debate whether or not it was fate that Shelly and J.T. became acquainted. In a series of flashbacks to six months earlier, J.T. almost meets Shelly in line at a coffeehouse but becomes frustrated by her lengthy order. He also nearly encounters her at DivaStyle, but leaves after getting frightened by the sight of a wedding veil. Meanwhile, also in flashbacks, Shelly comes close to being seduced by handsome cheater Kevin Thorpe , with whom she had broken up. But at the last minute, she asserts her independence, leaves him and puts on the sexy dress to finally meet J.T.—and her destiny—at Z Lounge.



14 :01x14 - Sister, Sister

Shelly's successful, fun-loving sister, Simone, comes for a visit, and Shelly frustratingly finds herself slipping back into the role of over-shadowed little sister as Simone starts taking the limelight.

Janie discovers Marty's secret porn stash, and fearing there's a problem in her marriage, sets about trying to remedy the problem with help from Shelly and Rita. Also, J.T. has made a new friend in Cedric the Entertainer, but when this new friend never, ever leaves his side, he becomes an annoyance that J.T. wonders how to "break up" with.



16 :01x16 - Party All The Time

Shelly’s globetrotting college friend, April (guest star Sofia Vergara), unexpectedly shows up in Miami and their late-night, party-crashing antics cause a huge fight at work with Rita and Janie after the pair are ditched outside a club with Jadakiss (guest starring as himself) and his posse. Meanwhile, J.T. volunteers to bring his “D.J. Fine” persona out of retirement when Donovan needs a fill-in for his regular Z Lounge D.J.



17 :01x17 - Hair is Stronger Than Pride

Shelly convinces J.T. to visit her very popular hairstylist Coleman, but when J.T. voices his dissatisfaction with the haircut, Coleman bans both of them from his salon. Shelly begs J.T. to apologize. Meanwhile, when Nick flirts with beautiful delivery woman Danni, a jealous Rita attempts to prove to Nick that Danni may actually find Rita the more attractive package.



18 :01x18 - Ride or Die Chick

Shelly jumps into J.T.'s bar brawl and, with one punch, puts an end to the fight before it even really starts, causing J.T. to feel his masculinity has been undermined. Meanwhile, Donovan breaks up with his latest girlfriend and cons his friends into thinking she dumped him so he can get as much sympathy as possible from his pals.



19 :01x19 - Pimps Up, DivaStyle Down

The women at DivaStyle accidentally accept a client who turns out to be a pimp, Rodney P. When Shelly refuses to do business with him, Rodney calls in his lawyers, Sugar-Free and Comfort. After accidentally catching her car on fire, Shelly tries to borrow money from J.T. for a down payment on a new automobile, but when he refuses, it causes her to question their relationship. Meanwhile, stuck with an extra ticket to a charity ball, Rita asks Donovan to escort her to the event and the two friends share a surprising kiss at the end of the evening.

Int he season finale, a humiliated J.T. has to admit to Shelly that he has doubts that she's the type of girl he could marry after he and his parents see her and the girls drunk and topless in a new commercial for a racy reality video. With Janie "grounded" by her husband Marty for her behavior in the video, Donovan and Rita valiantly attempt to not discuss their recent kiss, while Nick can't deal with the fact his new girlfriend Dani has an ex’s name tattooed on her body.



22 :01x22 - They've Come Undone (2)

Afterwords after what J.T. saw Shelley did on TV, Shelley questions whether J.T. wants to be together forever or not. J.T. doesn't think so and Shelley say the two words "It's Over!" And wals out of J.T.'s house and dumps him.



23 :02x01 - OVER

Continuing from where we last left off and so on, Shelley dumps J.T. and leaves his house and never wants to speak with him again. After a long 3 months or so on, J.T. and Shelly would sit down for an honest conversation about the effort and compromises each must make if they're going to stay together, but just when she thinks they're making progress, Shelly is shocked to learn that J.T.'s idea of compromise involves her changing her lifestyle. After all thatover with, Shelley tells J.T. "GO TO HELL" and will not take him back. J.T. later admits that he dumped Shelley, but actually Shelley walked out on J.T. and so she dumped him, but the two still attened to solve the answer by becoming the ones who dump each other. Meanwhile, Nick tries to pretend that he is happy about Donovan's romantic interest in Rita after learning of their newfound mutual attraction.



24 :02x02 - Self Helpless

In order to deal with her breakup, Shelly takes some advice from a self-help book that encourages her to spend time with herself, but a dinner out alone comically proves she needs the support of her girlfriends, Janie and Rita. Meanwhile, South Beach's socialites, including Janis and Helen, are buzzing about Shelly's breakup with J.T., and Nick jumps at the opportunity to help J.T. get back into the local scene, which causes Dani to question Nick’s commitment to their relationship.



25 :02x03 - All My Exes Havin' Sexes

In order for things to be back to normal the way it was beofre, Shelly asks J.T. for her stuff back but J.T. asks for his stuff back too. But after no excepting and doing the right thing, it's a big issue that the two now must go through to get what they want. Whether it's breaking in or stealing back.

After Shelly injures her foot, she's taking to the doctor which J.T. introduces her to. Afterwords, the doctor decides to set a date with Shelly. J.T. says that he's setting Shelley up with a non-doctor who can speak Spanish and not know English and he's not even a doctor. After being humiliated and stuff. Shelley ignores J.T. and the sneaky trick after she's being flaunted and taking to another man. But J.T. then feels jealous that shelly's not event hinking about him.



28 :02x06 - Splice of Life

When Rita's apartment is sold and nopt fixed and sleeps over at the DivaStyle apartment store, after Shelly and Janie break in. Janie decides to let Rita move in with her and afterwords, Shelly is jealous after Rita and Janie is not apying her any mind at all.



29 :02x07 - Friend Or Foe?

The gang decides to go to a movie, but Shelly doesn't want to go becuase she knows that J.T. will be there too. And after an argument and being banned from the theater untill furthur notice, Shelly decides not to think about J.T., untill a former customer who brought a bride dress finds out that she's not gettign married. Shelly decides to talk with ehr and the two get revenge on J.T..



30 :02x08 - Love TKO

Shelly falls in love with a boxer that is actually in love iwth her, but when in a match he loses, he blames it all on Shelley that he lost. Meanwhile; Janie and Rita and arguing and fighting over each other because they cannnot live with there own rules or agree with each other.



31 :02x09 - Above Average Joe

Shelly and Rita's competition for the affections of Joe (Carlos Ponce), a charming, handsome bachelor with a yacht, gets out of control, and it's up to Janie to remind the two friends not to fight over a guy. Meanwhile, J.T. tries to give celibacy a chance in order to get closer to a woman who's waiting for "that one special guy."



32 :02x10 - Dateless In Miami

Donovan's request for residency into the United States is denied; he is informed that he must leave the country within 30 days. JT realizes that he's still in love with Shelly.

Meanwhile, after showing promise in a local tournament, Nick tries to convince Janie's husband, Marty, to pursue his dream of being a professional bowler. Later, Shelly tries to help Rita set up her new apartment.
