  Episode Notes
This is the last episode to air on the WB, and also the series finale. It was the only surprise fatality from the CW merger.

If the show would have been picked up for a 5th season, Sarah Lancaster would have appeared in this episode and the Madison storyline would have been brought into action again

On its original airing the two-part series finale scored 4.07 million viewers for the WB.

The song playing over Bright and Hannah's touching moment and the Amy and Ephram flashbacks is "Ruins" by George Is Jones.

The Producers has said that is the series had gone into a fifth season the Madison/Ephram storyline would have been tied up once and for all - and that would lead into Ephram and Amy getting together (and staying together), the Wedding of Andy and Nina would have been the season-long arc with the ceremony taking place towards the end of the season (where Nina would have announced she was pregnant), Hannah would have gone off to Colorado A&M with Amy, and Bright would have started his own company.

It has been rumored that the producers wanted to do a 'fast-forward' montage durring the final moments of the episodes (a la 'Six Feet Under' / 'Chamred') going several decades into the future, but it never went beyond the script because it was too expensive.
