Andy puts on his scrubs for the first time since his departure from New York to operate on Colin Hart with the help of Dr. Brian Holderman. This surgery proves to be more stressful to Andy due to the added pressure of the patient being Amy's boyfriend and that the procedure has never been attempted before. As the doctors operate, Amy turns to Ephram for support; and flashbacks retell the story of what really happened the day of the car accident.

Bright: You know, there's a reason men don't wear ruffles.
Colin: It's not that bad. If this were 1775, you'd be a total chick magnet. | Amy: I just wanted to touch base with normal for a bit.
Ephram: You definitely called the wrong person then. | Bright: Dad, depending on how many people are there today, do you think I could borrow that rifle to shoot myself? | Andy: Clue doesn't come in travel size?
Ephram: One of the world's greater atrocities. |
