Episode Notes

The Robotussin scene was a reference to Chris Rock's album Bigger and Blacker, in which he talked about the ubiquitous curative properties of the well-known cough medicine, comically listing absurd examples like treating a broken leg with it.

This episode was in memory of Ray Cymoszinski who died 25-12-2005 of a heart attack. Ray Cymoszinski was the sound mixer of this show.

We learn that Julius' nickname with his work buddies is "Herc," short for "Hercules" because of his strength.

For the first time, Chris experiences his father curse in front of him while he is on the job, but all the viewers get to hear is a loud horn honking.

Episode Quotes

Narrator: If you watch TV, you'll know that the emergency room is one of the most exciting places you can be. Wrong!

Narrator: In the game of Dare, there are no rules, there are no regulations, and the game doesn't end 'til somebody's dead.

Julius: You can come to delivery with me. I'll be back in a few hours, now be downstairs at 3.30, not 3.31.
Chris: Don't worry, I'll be down earlier.
Julius: No such thing as earlier. You're either on time or you're late.

Narrator: I heard about allowances, but I didn't know they actually existed. I thought it was just something that happened on TV.

Narrator: When broke kids get bored, they play one of the cheapest games ever invented, "I Dare You".

Tonya: Mom, Chris got hit by a car!
Rochelle: Oh my god, I'll go get the Robitussin!
